Idaho Council of Catholic Women has been around since 1920 and before the organization of deaneries. Deaneries were organized in 1935. The officers of ICCW served a term of one year until 1959 when it was switched to two years terms. The Biennial Convention and election of ICCW officers rotates through the deaneries of Idaho: North Central, Southern, West Central, Eastern, Northern, and Western.
